Michele Lynn is a freelance writer and a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience with nonprofit organizations and elected officials, in positions ranging from communications associate to executive director.  She has a B.A. in political science from Barnard College, Columbia University and completed graduate course work in business administration at the University  of California at Berkeley.

Michele grew up in New York, lived in San Francisco for 15 years and has been happy to call Carrboro home since 1998.  Married and the mother of a son, she is an active volunteer in her son's school, political campaigns and community organizations.
