Networking & Original Research:

In addition to our extensive internal resume database of highly skilled professionals, we continually reach out to nonprofit professionals and network with targeted organizations to broaden the candidate pool. Taking traditional networking one step further, the CapDev team even goes so far as to conduct original research, deepening the candidate pool and adding fresh contacts for every search.

Reference & Background Checks:

Professional independent reference and criminal background checks will be conducted. CapDev will also tap into our networking database to conduct "backdoor" reference checks for a well-rounded view of the candidate.

Organizational Compatibility Assessments:

Because it is vital to the success of the organization to ensure a successful match and a positive working relationship, once a preliminary fit is determined, candidates are given a brief pre-employment corporate personality screening test that will measure job fit and organizational compatibility.

Candidate Screening & Selection:

The CapDev screening process is multi-tiered to filter candidates for appropriate experience, education and skill sets to meet the organization's needs. First, through phone interviews, CapDev helps to determine fit with the organization's mission, management style and culture; secondly, we share all information pertaining to the candidates in a format that makes it easier for the search team to review; and finally present a select group of top candidates to the organization for personal interviews.
